Privacy Policy

Keeper of Ideas ("the app") is a simple notepad for Android. This policy explains what information the app handles. The short version: none leaves your device. The app works entirely offline, contains no advertising, analytics or other third-party software development kits, and never connects to the internet.

Information stored only on your device

The notes you write, and any settings you change, are stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. They are not sent to us or to anyone else, because the app has no network access and no server. Uninstalling the app deletes them. If you use Android's backup feature, Android may include this data in your Google account backup under Google's terms; that is a function of Android, not of the app.

Information we do not collect

The app does not collect, store or share personal information of any kind. It has no account system, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no internet connection. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, files outside its own storage, or any other sensitive permission.

Third parties

No third-party service receives data from the app. The app is distributed through Google Play, and Google's handling of your Google account and downloads is described in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Children

Because the app collects no personal information, it collects none from children either. It is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. As we hold none, there is nothing for us to provide or delete: everything the app knows is on your device and under your control. Deleting the app deletes its data. Security

Your notes stay on your device, protected by Android's app sandbox, and are never transmitted.

Changes

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
